Following the musical tradition of Opatija, the town that hosted great musical figures such as Gustav Mahler and Giacomo Puccini, Festival Kvarner presents a series of exclusive musical programmes performed by world-famous musicians such as Nigel Kennedy and Michael Fendre, the artistic director of the festival. The festival programme combines the works of classical and contemporary composers in an elaborate concept.
