Creski Kaic is is an event whose main goal is to preserve and valorize intangible cultural heritage in terms of the traditional way of life of the island of Cres associated with maritime and fisheries and to raise general awareness of the importance of maritime and fishing heritage in preserving the island’s identity.

ith a rich entertainment and educational programme, the "Creski kaić" event will remind us how people lived by the sea and from the sea in Cres. Locals and visitors can take part in traditional games tournaments as well as in gastro programes. Music performances by local musicians, klapa and bands take place every evening in the main square.

The central event of the week is the traditional wooden boats sailing regatta.
