On the occasion of the 180th anniversary of Opatija tourism, the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County presents the Cultural-tourist route "The Routes of the Frankopan" from March 28th to April 12th, 2024, at several locations in Opatija.

Through the exhibition, theatrical performances, presentation of interpretation centers and an excursion to Gorski Kotar, the multi-day event called "Let's Get to Know the Frankopan Family" will bring the rich heritage of the Frankopan Family, which marked the history of this region, closer to the general public, as well as the youngest and tourism workers.

The event is presented jointly by the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County and the Maritime and Historical Museum of the Croatian Littoral Rijeka in co-organization with the City of Opatija and the Opatija Festival.

Admission to all events is free, with prior reservation for theatrical performances at the Gervais Center - tickets can be picked up at the offices of the Opatija Festival.
