Events calendar

During all three summer months, visitors to Rijeka have the chance to attend the various cultural programmes taking place at Trsat Castle, built with the purpose of defending the city from the Ottoman army, on the site where the Roman observatory was once located. The cultural and entertainment programme takes place inside the walls of this historical building which hosts numerous famous Croatian actors and musicians.
